Their topic? Last night’s presidential debate between John McCain and Barack Obama. So be sure to catch all the action in this historic debate series!

  • 10/19/08--16:00: David Johnson of Strategic Vision Polling. Plus, David's fellow blog talkers champ Kevin Ross - Oct 19,2008 (chan 2934486)
  • In a move that does democracy proud, the winners of FOX News Radio’s Battle of the Blog Talkers – Kevin “The Close Call Kid” Ross from the right and David “The Mouth from the South” McLaughlin from the left – are taking to each other’s shows to remind their fellow Americans to “get out the vote.” Kevin kicked off the show of unity last week by bringing David onto The Kevin Ross Show. Tonight, David welcomes Kevin onto The Kudzu Vine at 7 p.m. ET. The fact the neither blog talker champ fits his party’s stereotype has not gone unnoticed. “How ironic is it that I’m a black Republican from L.A. and David – a white guy from Georgia – is a Democrat?” Kevin tells us. “Don’t forget that I’m a Baptist - and a football coach, to boot,” quips David. Kevin and David beat out six other BlogTalkRadio hosts in the October 6-10 FOX News Radio tournament to determine America’s best talkers from each side of the political spectrum. Their victories (decided by listeners voting via mobile-text message and an online poll) were announced Monday by FOX News Radio anchor Spencer Hughes on Fox Across America, which hosted the historic debate series. But the war of words isn’t over yet. Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 21, David and Kevin will join Spencer in co-hosting four days of Election 2008 shows on FOX News Radio, from 8 to 9 a.m. ET. Stay tuned for details on that special series. In the meantime, if you missed any of last week’s blog-talk action, click here to download those shows now.

  • 11/05/08--15:00: Exit Poll with Ross & McLaughlin - Nov 05,2008 (chan 2934486)
  • (Part 1) Barack Obama has done it – won the White House in what was arguably the most significant presidential race of the past century. But now that the mud has dried and he stands before the nation promising change, where do we the people stand? That’s what Kevin Ross and David McLaughlin are bent on finding out. And who better for the job than America’s best blog talkers? Last month, Kevin – an African-American Republican from Los Angeles – and David – a white Democrat from outside Atlanta – took top honors in FOX News Radio’s “Battle of the Blog Talkers.” Now, the odder-than-odd odd couple is teaming up for an unprecedented event. On November 5, they’ll host a marathon BlogTalkRadio special that’ll take the pulse of our nation – and determine who believes change is on the horizon. Kicking off at 6 p.m. and running live until 12 a.m. ET, “Exit Poll ’08” will feature pundits from both sides the political spectrum, including Farai Chideya, host of National Public Radio’s “News & Notes,” Lee Bailey, publisher of the Electronic Urban Report, Rev. Leonard Jackson , special advisor to L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Julie Vanderpost , chairperson for California Republican Women for McCain. Also joining Kevin and David will be fellow BlogTalkRadio hosts Chad Everson and Andrea Shea King. But no pundit’s voice will be more important than yours: Kevin and David will do their damndest get as many callers on the air as possible. "Even if it means..." notes David. "Breaking in on each other mid-opinion," says Kevin.
